The Grand Traverse Safe Streets Alliance (GTSSA) is hosting a neighborhood input event at Silver Spruce Brewing, 439 East Eighth Street in Traverse City from 6pm to 7:30pm on Thursday August 27th, 2026.

At this event you will be teamed up/paired with other neighbors from your Traverse City neighborhood and/or surrounding areas to identify one or two key areas that need safety improvements for walking/running/cycling/disabled access.  From this effort, you and the GTSSA will work on an action plan to get efforts underway in the coming six to twelve months with the appropriate government departments/agencies.

Please come work collaboratively in a constructive fast paced event with your neighbors and facilitators from the GTSSA and other organizations to advance your areas of safety concern.

Whining, monopolizing discussions and complaining not allowed - only constructive efforts please.
