MI Trails 2050 Summit
As part of this statewide effort, we’re seeking to create space for better communication and coordination between public and private stakeholders, to build a shared plan and vision that integrates trails more effectively with local, regional, and state master plans.
This is one of six regional summits across the state to bring together important perspectives from each part of Michigan. The summit will include a trail experience, a panel of regional experts, and a featured speaker.

What is the Grand Traverse Non-Motorized Transportation Future?
Join us at the Traverse Area District Library (Woodmere Branch) during SmartCommute Week for a community event on expanding non-motorized transportation in Traverse City.
We’ll share short videos of national success stories, host a panel discussion, and explore how similar ideas could work locally. Come early for a bike rally corral to show off your ride, share your setup, and see bikes from local shops.

Help Secure Dedicated Funding for Safer Streets
Join us at the Traverse City Commission Meeting to help secure dedicated funding for safe street improvements
Governmental Center (400 Boardman Ave, Traverse City)
The Traverse City Commission is voting on a budget amendment that would dedicate 1% of the City’s general fund—over $230,000 annually—to Complete Streets improvements. That means safer, more accessible streets for everyone who walks, bikes, rolls, drives, or rides the bus.

Traverse City Commissioner Meeting
We’re showing up to the Traverse City Commissioner Meeting to introduce the Grand Traverse Safe Streets Alliance, present the Quick Hit project list, and 2×4 vision for safe, connected, non-motorized transportation corridors.
